New HP Business & Office Printers - All-in-one, Fax, LaserJet, Inkjet

HP Officejet Pro L7590 printer (CB821A)Today Hewlett-Packard (HP) unveiled a number of new printers targeting the business and office market.

The most advanced printer model is the HP L7590 All-in-One. The HP L7590 printer is capable of printing, faxing and flatbed copying or scanning. All of these operations can be performed in color and its specifications indicate that the HP L7590 prints 5 to 35 pages per minute. The printing speed is dependant on page print quality mode (vs. the color mode is being utilized).

Those those businesses that are budget conscience, the lower level models include the HP CP1515n printer and HP CP1518ni printer. With today’s announcement, HP did not provide specific printer specificationa and additional details. From what we have learned, the HP LaserJet CM1312 MFP printer omits the color faxing of the L7590 and prints at 12 pages per minute in black-and-white (or 8 pages per minute in color). The HP CP1215 printer exhibits similar specifications, is a color only printer, and should be priced at roughly $300.

From an inkjet perspective, HP has announced the new HP Officejet J6400 printer, the HP J4580 printer and HP J3600 printer. Each of these models is considered an all-in-one printer. The HP 6400 printer features the same basic functions as the HP L7590 printer and incorporates 2-sided printing, wired, and wireless networking. The HP 4580 printer is similar to the HP 6400 printer, but does not include networking functionality.

And finally, HP introduced a large number of new new monochrome HP LaserJets. The HP M1319f MFP printer and HP M1522 MFP printer. The HP M1319f MFP is geared to the low-end market and prints, scans, faxes and copies. The HP M1522 printer builds upon the HP M1319f MFP printer, but features faster print speeds, a fifty-sheet document feeder, built-in networking and a flatbed color scanner.
