New for Pro Photographers – HP Z3200 Ink Printer
Newly Launched HP Z3200 Inkjet Printer
HP has announced the new HP Z3200 Ink Printer, expanding HP’s professional printing portfolio for creative professionals and print service providers (PSPs) by delivering long-lasting gallery-quality prints in black and white and color.
Ideal for photographers, commercial printers, photo and fine art PSPs, and graphic designers, the HP Z3200 Inkjet Printer achieves print permanence of more than 200 years on a range of HP ink, creative and specialty printing materials.
A Great Machine – HP Z3200 Ink Printer
The HP Z3200 ink printer is the successor to the HP Z3100 ink printer, which, when it first shipped late in 2006, was one of the most innovative photo printers we had seen in a long time. The HP Z3100 inkjet utilized 12 pigment-based inks (including a gloss optimizer) to produce high-quality, gallery-ready prints, but it was the printer’s embedded spectrophotometer (from X-Rite) and seamless integration with networked Macs and PCs that set it apart from competitors like Epson and Canon.
HP inkjet engineers spent considerable effort streamlining the process of printing: everything from unboxing the device to profiling and adding new paper types had been thought through by HP’s hardware and software personnel. The result was the HP DesignJet Z3200 ink printer that created top-quality prints and was a joy to use, day in and day out.
