Move over Epson Artisan 700 ink printer, there’s a new printer on the block.  Its the Epson Artisan 710 ink printer.  The Epson 710 ink printer features Epson’s reknowned inkjet cartridge technology, a flatbed scanner and copier functions – all of which are geared towards the business user needs whose work focuses on graphic and artwork type documents.

Artisan 710 Printer Specifications

The Epson 710 ink printer uses 6 ink colors and offers a draft print speed of 38 PPM (pages per minute) when using Epson black ink cartridges or when printing with Epson color ink cartridges. Epson says the laser-quality print speed is 9.5 ppm for Epson ink black cartridges only, and 9 ppm for color ink cartridges.  Additionally, Epson also says that a 4 X 6 inch color photos can print in ten seconds.  The Epson Artisan 710’s 48-bit scanner has an optical resolution of 2,400 dpi and the Epson Artisan 710 ink printer has a scanner that also acts as a color or B&W copier.

Wireless Capabilities of the Epson 710 Ink Printer

To assist IT professional in the easy installation of the Epson 710, it can connect to most computers using a USB cable and networks through a Ethernet port or a Wi-Fi connection. Users can also insert flash cards directly into the device for ease of use.  The Epson 710 Ink Printer offers a 2.5-inch LCD.  It includes numerous functions for printing and scanning directly to the device itself.

Epson currently indicates the Epson Artisan 710 ink printer will feature a retail price of $180.
